## What Filmora offers

Wondershare's Filmora runs on Windows and Mac, with iOS, iPadOS and Android apps. It lists dynamic captions, AI text-based editing, Auto Reframe, AI video translation and Auto Beat Sync. The free desktop version is a full editor, but exports carry a watermark.

Filmora's pages show a ladder of prices and do not label list and sale. The most consistent figures are Basic at US$49.99 a year and Perpetual at US$79.99. Advanced is US$59.99 a year and the Windows store page shows US$19.99 monthly. Perpetual updates only within Filmora 16 (checked 3 Nov 2026).

## DaVinci Resolve

Blackmagic Design offers a free version and a paid Studio version, for Mac, Windows and Linux. Studio adds text-based editing, Magic Mask and AI voice isolation. Auto subtitles are Studio-only.

## PowerDirector

CyberLink's editor for Windows and Mac. PowerDirector 365 lists AI text-based editing, auto reframe and a voice translator with lip sync. The free Essential version adds a watermark.

## Clipchamp

Microsoft's editor runs in the browser and as a Windows app. Free personal exports reach 1080p with no watermark and include AI subtitles and silence removal. 4K export and the brand kit need Microsoft 365.

## Premiere Pro

Adobe's desktop editor, now called Adobe Premiere. It transcribes on import and lets you cut by copying and pasting text. It is a membership only, and Adobe's India page shows two different single-app prices.

## VEED

A browser editor with auto subtitles, AI dubbing and background removal. Creator removes the watermark and exports Full HD. Pro adds 4K and translation into 50+ languages.

## Marxx

We make Marxx. [Marxx's AI video editor](/features/ai-video-editor) runs in the browser. Describe the edit and the built-in assistant does it on the timeline, and each request lands as one undo step. Cut, Match and Master cost $9, $29 and $69 a month at launch prices (checked 3 Nov 2026).
