## What OpusClip offers

OpusClip turns long videos into short clips with AI. Free exports up to 1080p, stores files for 3 days, and puts a watermark on animated caption templates. Starter removes the watermark and adds a virality score and posting to YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram.

Pro adds 1:1 and 16:9 reframing, AI video B-roll, dubbing and an MCP connector. Credit counts are not on its pricing page. On the Indian App Store the iPhone app lists Starter at INR 789 and Pro Monthly at INR 1,649 (checked 3 Nov 2026).

Hindi matters here. OpusClip's help article says it does not support Hindi, while other OpusClip pages list it. Test a Hindi file before you pay.

## Vizard

AI clipping and reframing for vertical video, with brand templates and scheduling to YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Facebook and Instagram. Vizard's help centre lists Hindi for transcription and subtitle translation. One credit equals one minute of uploaded video. Free exports 720p with a watermark.

## Submagic

A web app with no phone app. It lists Hindi captions and Magic Clips, which pulls key moments from long videos. Starter caps videos at 2 minutes, Pro at 5 and Business at 30. The pricing page lists no free plan. The trial exports carry a watermark.

## Descript

Edits video by editing its transcript. Hobbyist lists Create Clips and Remove Filler Words. Hindi transcription is marked Beta. Free gives 1 media hour a month with 720p export and a watermark.

## Kapwing

A browser editor with Trim with Transcript and Repurpose Studio, which turns a video into social-ready clips. It translates subtitles into 100+ languages, including Hindi. Free exports are 720p, up to 4 minutes, with a watermark.

## Captions

Captions (by Mirage) lists 100+ caption styles, removal of pauses and filler words, and Hindi and Hinglish captions. Chat to Edit is on Max. Free credits are one-time and do not refresh.

## ZapCap

A web tool built around captions, with 50+ animated styles and Hindi on its own page. Free covers 3 videos a month up to 1 minute 30 seconds. Starter covers 15 videos of up to 2 minutes.

## Marxx

We make Marxx. It is an editor, not a clipper, so you pick the moment. [Marxx's AI video editor](/features/ai-video-editor) then cuts it by transcript in the browser, fits it to a target length, reframes it for a platform and adds word-by-word captions. Plans start at $9 a month at launch prices (checked 3 Nov 2026).

## Worked example: long videos

Say you upload 10 hours of long video a month. That is 600 minutes.

- Vizard counts 1 credit per minute, so you need 600 credits. Creator starts at 600 credits a month.
- Vizard Free has 60 credits, which covers 60 minutes, or 1 hour in 10.
- Creator costs $29 a month, or $14.50 a month billed yearly ($174 a year).

OpusClip's credits are not on its pricing page, so check its plan before you compare. Prices checked 3 Nov 2026.

## How to choose

1. Name the job: clip long videos, caption short ones, or cut by transcript.
2. Test a Hindi or Hinglish file if you need it. Language lists differ between tools.
3. Export one clip from each free plan and look for a watermark.
4. Read [Vizard alternatives](/alternatives/vizard-alternatives), [Submagic alternatives](/alternatives/submagic-alternatives) and [ZapCap alternatives](/alternatives/zapcap-alternatives).
