For Hindi auto captions, Captions (by Mirage), Submagic and ZapCap list it on their own pages. Canva, VEED and Kapwing add captions inside a full editor.

ZapCap's $8 looks like the yearly rate, and its page does not show a monthly price. OpusClip's other pages list Hindi, so its pages conflict. Premiere Pro (now called Adobe Premiere), DaVinci Resolve Studio and Edits by Instagram also caption, but we could not confirm Hindi on the pages we read.

## Captions, Submagic, ZapCap

Captions lists 100+ caption styles on iPhone, Android and web. Submagic is web only and lists up to 123 languages, though its own pages show other counts. Its Starter plan lists 15 videos of up to 2 minutes. ZapCap lists 50+ animated caption styles in 90+ languages and has a Hindi page.

## Inside bigger editors

VEED lists auto captions in 125+ languages. Kapwing lists 100+ caption styles. In Canva, go to Text, then Dynamic text, then Captions. Descript warns that Hindi is in Beta. Vizard's help centre lists transcription in 40 languages.

## Desktop editors

Premiere Pro makes captions from a transcript: Window > Text, transcribe, then Captions > Create captions from transcript. Resolve's free version adds subtitles by hand. Auto subtitles need Studio. Final Cut Pro's Generate Captions needs Apple silicon.

## Burn in or export a file

Burned-in captions are part of the picture, so viewers cannot switch them off. A subtitle file stays separate.

1. Pick a 30-second clip with real speech, names and numbers.
2. Run it through two tools.
3. Count the wrong words in each caption file.
4. Check that Devanagari letters display cleanly on screen.
5. Time how long the fixes take.
