For Meta ads monitoring, start with Meta's own automated rules if you run one account and email is enough. Pick Birch if you want rules that also act and post to Slack. Pick Optmyzr or Polar Analytics if you also watch other channels, and Marxx if you run many clients and want alerts in each client's own Slack channel.

## Meta automated rules

Meta's automated rules live inside Ads Manager. You set a condition, such as cost per result above INR 900, and the rule notifies you or changes the campaign, ad set or ad. It costs nothing extra and needs no new login. It has no Slack option, so a team that lives in Slack needs another tool to carry the message. Good for a single brand account with a few clear rules.

## Birch

[Birch](https://bir.ch), formerly Revealbot, runs automation rules for Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok. It lists "20+ actions, checked every 15 minutes", so a rule can pause, scale or notify. Its Slack integration comes with the Essential and Pro plans. Essential is $49/month ($540 billed annually) and Pro is $99/month ($1,090 billed annually), and the price depends on ad spend. It has a 14-day free trial with no card. Good for media buyers who want rules that act as well as alert. See [Revealbot alternatives](/alternatives/revealbot-alternatives) and [Madgicx vs Revealbot](/compare/madgicx-vs-revealbot).

## Madgicx

[Madgicx](https://madgicx.com) is a Meta-focused AI ads platform. Its AI Marketer reviews the account and offers Launch buttons for its suggestions. We found no Slack feature on its site, so monitoring happens inside the app. The price is shown inside the app, after a 7-day free trial. Good for brands that want analysis and launching in one Meta tool. See how it compares in [Marxx vs Madgicx](/compare/madgicx).

## Polar Analytics

[Polar Analytics](https://www.polaranalytics.com) is a commerce data platform built around Shopify. Its Slack agent, Polar Operator, works with Meta, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, Klaviyo and Google Sheets. It runs standing audits and reports, and answers in mentions and direct messages. Polar says any action that changes something outside Polar is held for a person to confirm. Operator is included in Polar's plans, whose prices are not listed publicly. Good for Shopify brands that want store and ad numbers together.

## Optmyzr

[Optmyzr](https://www.optmyzr.com) manages Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok ads. It sends KPI and performance alerts and connects to Slack, Microsoft Teams and Zapier. It says "No changes without your approval, ever." It has a 14-day trial. Its plan prices were not listed in a form we could read, so check optmyzr.com/pricing. Good for teams whose main spend is Google with Meta alongside.

## Marxx

We make Marxx. It reads your connected Meta ad account, shows creative fatigue now and within 7 days, and posts alerts with a High, Medium or Low severity to each client's own Slack channel. Good for agencies running many clients. See [Meta ads alerts in Slack](/guides/how-to-set-up-meta-ads-alerts-in-slack) and [Marxx in Slack](/features/slack).

## How to choose

1. **Count your accounts.** One brand can start with Meta's rules. Ten clients need something that keeps each client apart.
2. **Decide if the tool should act.** Birch and Meta's rules can change ads. Polar and Optmyzr hold changes for approval. Alerts alone change nothing.
3. **Check where your team reads.** If it is Slack, cross Madgicx and Meta's rules off for alerts, or add a bridge.
4. **List your other channels.** Optmyzr and Polar cover Google too. Birch covers Google, Snapchat and TikTok.
5. **Trial with real rules.** Set up the same three alerts, such as high CPA, spend with no results and CTR falling, in each tool for two weeks.

## FAQ

### Does Meta have its own monitoring tool?

Yes. Automated rules in Ads Manager check conditions you set and can notify you or change the ad. They do not post to Slack.

### Which Meta ads monitoring tool posts to Slack?

Birch (Essential and Pro), Polar Analytics through Polar Operator, Optmyzr and Marxx all connect to Slack. Madgicx and Meta's own rules showed no Slack feature when we checked.

### Should a monitoring tool be allowed to pause ads?

Start with alerts only. Let a tool act once you trust its rules, and keep a person in the loop for budget changes.
