Shoot and edit in 9:16. Meta recommends 1440 x 2560 for Reels ads. 2. Meta's guide for Reels ads says to keep text clear of the top 14%, bottom 35% and each side 6%. On 1080 x 1920 that is about 269 px, 672 px and 65 px (worked out from Meta's percentages). 3. Organic Reels can run up to 20 minutes. Instagram recommends 3 minutes or less for people who do not follow you yet. 4. Meta calls sound "strongly recommended" for Reels ads. ## Edits by Instagram Instagram's own app is free and its exports have no added watermark. Tap Captions in the bottom tools row, set the spoken language and style, then tap Generate captions.
