Bhai Dooj 2026 falls on **Wednesday 11 November** in most of India, three days after Diwali on Sunday 8 November. It is a gifting moment between brothers and sisters, so last-minute gift ads and quick delivery do well.

[Drik Panchang](https://www.drikpanchang.com/festivals/bhai-dooj/bhai-dooj-date-time.html?year=2026) lists Dwitiya tithi, the lunar day Bhai Dooj follows, from 2:00 PM on 10 November to 3:53 PM on 11 November for New Delhi (checked 2026-10-20). So some calendars mark 10 November. Check a local panchang if your copy names a date.

## Timing plan

| When | What to run |
|---|---|
| 1 to 8 Nov | Gift guides alongside Diwali ads (Diwali is 8 Nov) |
| 9 Nov | "Diwali's done, Bhai Dooj next": quick-delivery gifts |
| 10 Nov | Last call, same-day or next-day delivery, gift cards |
| 11 Nov | Digital gifts and gift cards for anyone who forgot |

## Angles that work

- **Last-minute rescue:** "Forgot Bhai Dooj? Delivered tomorrow."
- **For him / for her:** split ads by who is buying for whom
- **Distance:** gifts for siblings in other cities, with delivery promises
- **Memory:** childhood rivalry, inside jokes, old photos

## Ideas by category

| Category | Idea |
|---|---|
| Fashion | "Gifts under INR 999 for your brother" carousel |
| Grooming | Gift sets in a sibling teasing format |
| Sweets and dry fruit | Same-city delivery by evening |
| Gift cards | "The gift they actually want" for late buyers |
| Electronics | Earbuds and smartwatches with exchange offers |

## Mistakes to avoid

- Stopping all ads on Diwali day; Bhai Dooj buyers shop right after
- Promising delivery dates you cannot meet in festive rush
- Generic "festive sale" creative with no sibling angle

## FAQ

### What is the Bhai Dooj date in 2026?

Wednesday 11 November 2026 in most of India. Some calendars and regions mark it a day earlier.

### Is Bhai Dooj worth a separate campaign?

For gifting brands, yes. Use a separate ad set or new ads, so the message is about siblings, not Diwali.
