Christmas 2026 is on **Friday 25 December**. For most brands it is a gifting and party moment, so the money is in the two weeks before, with delivery cut-offs set clearly in every ad.

## Timing plan

| When | What to run |
|---|---|
| 1 to 10 Dec | Gift guides, Secret Santa ideas, office party offers |
| 11 to 19 Dec | Main push with delivery-by-Christmas dates |
| 20 to 23 Dec | Last-day delivery, store pickup, gift cards |
| 24 to 25 Dec | Gift cards, same-day delivery, experiences |
| 26 to 31 Dec | Year-end sale and New Year |

## Angles that work

- **Secret Santa:** gifts by budget, such as under INR 500 and under INR 1,500
- **Office parties:** bulk orders, cakes, hampers
- **Family time:** cooking, décor, games for the holiday
- **Last-minute rescue:** gift cards and same-day delivery
- **Year-end treat:** "You earned it this year"

## Ideas by category

| Category | Idea |
|---|---|
| Bakeries and cafés | Plum cake pre-orders, delivery slots |
| Gifting brands | Budget-tiered carousels |
| Fashion | Party wear, "outfits for 3 parties" |
| Home décor | Trees, lights, table settings |
| Experiences | Staycations and dinners for the long weekend |

## Mistakes to avoid

- No delivery cut-off in the ad, leading to angry late orders
- Snow-heavy Western creative that feels off for Indian audiences; show local celebrations
- Running the same Black Friday ads into December
