The 32nd Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) runs from **Friday 4 December 2026 to Sunday 17 January 2027**, which is 45 days. Plan it as three bursts, not one long sale, and get your promotion permit sorted before you announce anything.

## A budget split

Say you have AED 90,000 for the 45 days. Put AED 15,000 into the launch burst to test hooks, AED 50,000 into the holiday peak behind the winners, and AED 25,000 into the final weeks. Set your own split from last year's sales by week, not from this example.

## Rules to check (checked 2026-10-20)

Dubai Economy said in July 2020 that any promotional offer needs a permit, that a campaign cannot start early or run past its permit dates, and that prices before and after the sale must be available. It also said raffles need a Dubai Economy inspector present, and that prizes must reach winners within 60 working days ([Dubai Media Office](https://www.mediaoffice.ae/en/news/2020/july/13-07/dubai-economy)). ## Mistakes to avoid

- Running a discount or raffle without the right permit
- Spending most of the budget in the first week
- One ad for 45 days. Plan new versions for each burst
- English-only creative when your buyers read Arabic
- Calling a price "was AED 500" when you never charged it
