## What Captions does well

- AI Creator and AI Twin, which are digital twins or custom AI actors
- AI Edit styles, Clips and a chat-based editor
- AI Translate and AI Lipdub for dubbing
- Plans by AI credits: Max has 500 a month, Frontier 1,400 at $69.99

Frontier tiers go to $139.99 and $279.99 a month. Captions lists no yearly prices. It says a yearly plan bills 12 months up front at a discount.

## What CapCut does well

- Editors on desktop, online, mobile and CapCut Pad
- Business and social templates for promo videos and ads
- Auto captions, text to speech, noise removal and background removers
- An image resizer for ad sizes

CapCut's online editor says it exports HD without a watermark. Check that it is available in your country and app store before you rely on it.

## A worked example

Say you make 8 talking-head ads a month. You want each in Hindi and English.

- **Captions Max:** $24.99 a month, so $24.99 x 12 = $299.88 a year on monthly billing. AI Translate and AI Lipdub are in the plan, and credits limit how many you can make.
- **CapCut:** you cut the video, add auto captions, then record or generate a second voice yourself.

If your bottleneck is a second language, Captions saves steps. If it is cutting and pacing, CapCut's editor gives more control. For Hindi ads in particular, read [how to dub ads into Hindi](/guides/how-to-dub-ads-into-hindi).

## Who should pick which

- **AI creators and dubbing:** Captions.
- **Manual editing and templates:** CapCut.
- **Design and video in one place:** see [CapCut vs Canva](/compare/capcut-vs-canva).

For more dubbing options, see [the best AI dubbing tools](/best/best-ai-dubbing-tools).

Marxx has a multi-track [video editor for ads](/features/ai-video-editor) in the browser. Each workspace turns it on separately. It does auto-captions, dubbing and lip sync, and takes edits in plain words. We make Marxx, so weigh that.
