## Three differences that matter

- **Cutting method.** Descript cuts by transcript. Kapwing has Trim with Transcript, and also Smart Cut for silences.
- **Free limits.** Descript counts media hours. Kapwing counts export minutes.
- **Hindi.** Kapwing names Hindi for subtitle translation. Descript lists Hindi transcription in Beta, and its filler-word removal works on English transcripts only.
