Meta's pages say Edits is free. InShot's site lists no prices, so its rupee prices are Indian iPhone App Store in-app prices, which vary by store and date.

## Three differences that matter

- **Cost.** Edits has no listed price. InShot is free, and its terms list logo and ads removal as a Pro benefit.
- **Hindi text.** Meta added fonts for Devanagari captions on 28 Nov 2025, starting on Android. We found no official list of Edits caption languages.
- **Where it ends.** Edits is built around Instagram: you can share a finished project straight to Instagram as a Reel. InShot exports a file for any platform.

## A worked example

Say you post 20 Reels a month.

- InShot Pro yearly: INR 1,499 / 12 = about INR 125 a month, or about INR 6 a Reel.
- Edits: no price is listed.
