We found no dollar figure to quote, so ask for a quote. Northbeam says its plans "start at" the listed rates, and your price depends on pageviews.

## What Triple Whale does well

- A free plan, with no commitment
- A first-party pixel called the Triple Pixel
- A store-wide view across channels
- Unlimited users and store integrations on paid plans
- A built-in AI assistant

## What Northbeam does well

- Multi-touch attribution across channels
- Clicks + Deterministic Views, which combines your own order data with ad platform engagement data to credit ad views
- Media Mix Modeling+ as an option on Enterprise, and incrementality as an option on Professional and Enterprise
- A dedicated media strategist on Professional
- MCP access in its plans

Both vendors describe their own accuracy in strong terms. Triple Whale calls its pixel the most accurate in ecommerce, and Northbeam's Clicks + Deterministic Views page claims "100% accuracy". These are marketing claims, not independent tests. Treat them as ideas to test.

## A worked example

Say a Shopify brand spends INR 5,00,000 in a month: INR 3,50,000 on Meta and INR 1,50,000 on Google. Shopify shows INR 14,00,000 in total sales.

| Channel | What the tool credits | Spend | Return per rupee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta | INR 4,60,000 | INR 3,50,000 | 1.31 |
| Google | INR 3,20,000 | INR 1,50,000 | 2.13 |
| Email | INR 1,80,000 | none | not applicable |
| Direct and other | INR 4,40,000 | none | not applicable |
| **Total** | **INR 14,00,000** | **INR 5,00,000** | **2.8 overall** |

These numbers are made up. The tool gives a third view next to Meta's and Google's own reports. Here Google earns more per rupee than Meta, so you might move budget to Google and watch the result. The overall figure, INR 14,00,000 divided by INR 5,00,000, is the [MER](/glossary/mer). Read [ROAS vs MER](/compare/roas-vs-mer) for when each helps.

## Do you need one?

An attribution tool is worth it when you spend on several channels and cannot tell which one earns. If you only run Meta, start with the simpler checks in [GA4 vs Meta Ads Manager numbers](/compare/ga4-vs-meta-ads-manager-numbers). To learn whether ads cause sales, no tracking tool replaces a test. Read about [incrementality](/glossary/incrementality) and the [geo lift test](/glossary/geo-lift-test).

Marxx is not an attribution tool. It reads your Meta ad account for creative and account insights. See [Marxx vs Triple Whale](/compare/triple-whale). We make Marxx, so weigh that.
