# Client workspaces: one product per client, isolated by default.

Every client is its own workspace. Ad accounts, pages, connections, boards, personas and reports belong to one client and never leak into another, a new workspace inherits nothing from the last one, and even an assistant connected over MCP has to say which client it is asking about.

**Isolated by default.** A new workspace inherits nothing from the last one, so two competing brands can sit in one account without meeting.

**Connections follow the client.** Meta, Instagram, Google and Slack belong to the workspace, so publishing and alerts always run against the right account.

**No silent default.** An assistant connected over MCP must name the client before it can read anything. There is no fallback that quietly answers about the wrong one.

## Questions

### What is a client workspace?

A workspace is one client's entire footprint in Marxx: their ad accounts, pages, connections, boards, personas, canvases, alerts and reports. Switching workspace switches all of it at once, so no state from the previous client is visible in the current one.

### How is client data kept separate?

Isolation is the default rather than a setting. Records belong to a workspace, a new workspace inherits nothing from the last one, and nothing crosses between them. That is what lets an agency hold two competing brands without either appearing in the other's research, boards or reports.

### Do connections follow the client?

Yes. Meta, Instagram, Google and Slack connections belong to the workspace and follow the switcher, so publishing, reporting and alerts for one client always run against that client's own accounts and never against whichever was connected first.

### What happens when an assistant asks about my account?

It has to pick a client first. A connected assistant has no workspace switcher, so rather than guessing from a default, Marxx requires an explicit choice and refuses to answer until it has one. For a multi-client account, a default would mean an entire conversation quietly reading the wrong client's ads.

### Can features differ per client?

They can. Configuration is per workspace, so a feature can be on for one client and off for the next depending on what that engagement covers and what the client has agreed to.

### Can clients see their own reporting?

You can send a live report a client opens themselves, without giving them access to the account or waiting on a monthly deck. The report reflects what the workspace holds when they open it rather than a snapshot exported on a Friday.

### What if one ad account is shared by more than one of my entities?

Marxx handles it explicitly rather than picking a winner. Where an ad account is genuinely owned by more than one organisation, each owner gets its own records, its own resolved identity and its own configuration, so nothing is attributed to whichever entity happened to connect first.

### How does this help with pitching?

You can research a brand you do not work with yet: pull their live creative, decode it, and walk into the pitch with the angle gap for their account rather than a case study about someone else's. That research sits in its own workspace from the start, so it becomes the client's workspace if you win.

### What happens when someone leaves the team?

Access is managed per organisation and per workspace, so removing a member removes their reach across the clients they were on. Ownership of the work stays with the workspace rather than with the person who created it.

### How is Marxx priced for multiple clients?

Marxx is priced per workspace rather than per seat. Ad spend and how much creative you generate set the plan; how many people log in does not, so adding an account manager or a freelancer to a client does not change the bill.
