Facebook ads in Mexico run in Meta Ads Manager, and Meta adds VAT (IVA) to your bill when Facebook Mexico is the seller on your receipt, whether or not you are VAT registered. You can pay by card or PayPal, or by OXXO, SPEI or Mercado Pago if you chose a local method when you set up the account.

## What to run and when

Say you spend MXN 10,000 and Facebook Mexico is the seller on your receipt. At the general rate of 16%, Meta adds MXN 1,600 and you pay MXN 11,600. Budget for the higher number.
