Google Ads has a beta tool that copies an English (US) Search campaign into one of 10 languages, and it was reported live for advertisers on **23 October 2026**. The copy starts paused, keeps your budget and bids as they are, and never touches the original campaign.

## What we know

- **Confirmed by Google:** its [help page on the localization tool](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/17218209) lists the languages, what gets translated and who is excluded (checked 26 Oct 2026).
- **Reported:** PPC News Feed said on 23 October that the tool is now open in Google Ads, not just on request, as [PPC Land](https://ppc.land/google-ads-ai-tool-copies-search-campaigns-into-10-new-languages/) reported on 25 October. Google has made no dated announcement.
- **Google's plan, not yet seen:** more languages by the end of 2026, and Performance Max support. The help page said that would start in September 2026, and no one has reported it live.

## What it means for your ad account

| What | What the tool does |
|---|---|
| Languages | Dutch, French (two kinds), German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese (two kinds), Spanish (two kinds) |
| Text | Translates headlines, descriptions, sitelinks, callouts and keywords |
| Images | Strips text off images and adds the translation as text assets |
| Landing pages | Offers a code snippet that translates your page for the visitor |
| Budget and bids | Copies the numbers exactly, with no currency change |

There is no Hindi or Arabic yet. The tool helps brands from India and the Gulf that sell to Europe or Latin America.

## What to do this week

1. **Open Tools, then Localization**, or tick an English Search campaign and pick the localization option.
2. **Set the new budget by hand.** Say your campaign spends INR 5,000 a day in India. The German copy also gets INR 5,000, though clicks there may cost far more, so plan it again. Our [ad budget template](/templates/ad-budget-template) helps.
3. **Read every translated headline** with a native speaker before you switch it on. Our [Hindi dubbing guide](/guides/how-to-dub-ads-into-hindi) covers the same checks for video.
4. **Test the translated landing page** on a phone. If it reads badly, a [lead form](/compare/lead-ads-vs-landing-page) may do better.

## FAQ

### Does it change my original campaign?

No. Google's help page says it makes a new, separate campaign and leaves the original as it was.

### Can I translate from Hindi or Arabic?

No. The source campaign must be all in English (US), and Hindi and Arabic are not target languages yet.

### Who cannot use it?

Advertisers verified for election ads, and campaigns that are removed, drafts or experiments.
