Meta described a new version of [Andromeda](/glossary/meta-andromeda), the system that picks which ads each person might see, on **28 October 2026**. You do not need to change any setting, but the upgrade rewards accounts that give Meta many clearly different ads to choose from.

- Andromeda now looks at far more ads before ranking. Near-copies of one ad give it little extra to choose from.

- The 2.4% is Meta's average. Your account may see more, less or nothing.

1. **Count your real ideas.** Group live ads by hook and angle, not by file.
2. **Cut near-duplicates** that only change a colour or a word.
