TechSmith's store page showed rupees only when we read it, with every plan billed yearly and no monthly option. We could not tell whether the page changes currency by visitor location (checked 3 Nov 2026).

TechSmith offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. Individual plans are tied to the purchasing email and cannot be transferred.

## What the free editor includes

Camtasia has no named free plan. A TechSmith support article says you can use the Camtasia Editor free with no time limit, and exports carry a watermark. The watermark goes away after you buy Essentials, Create or Pro. A marketing page advertises a 3-day trial instead, and we could not settle which is right. Starter still lists a watermarked editor.

- **Essentials** suits tutorial makers who edit by transcript and remove filler words.
- **Create** suits teams that want AI voiceover and scripts.
- **Pro** suits teams that need avatars, dubbing and stock assets.

Camtasia runs on Windows and Mac only, with no phone app.
