IFTTT has a free plan with 1,000 credits. The cheapest paid plan, Starter, costs $2.09 a month, which is $25.08 billed once a year (checked 6 Nov 2026). For lead alerts, the plan you pick mostly decides how often IFTTT checks for a new Facebook lead.

## Plans and prices

| Plan | Price | What you get for lead alerts |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 1,000 credits. Facebook "New lead" checked every hour |
| Starter | $2.09/month ($25.08 a year) | "New lead" checked every 15 minutes |
| Pro | $5.49/month ($65.88 a year) | "New lead" checked every 5 minutes |
| Pro+ | $13.99/month ($167.88 a year) | "New lead" checked every 5 minutes |

All prices from ifttt.com/plans, in US dollars (checked 6 Nov 2026). Each monthly figure is the yearly price divided by 12, so read them as yearly billing. Credits on the paid plans are shown on IFTTT's plans page.

## How lead checks work

IFTTT's Facebook Lead Ads "New lead" trigger is a polling trigger. Polling means IFTTT asks Facebook "anything new?" at set gaps, rather than hearing about a lead the moment it lands. IFTTT's page says it checks "every hour on Free, every 15 minutes on Starter, and every 5 minutes on Pro and Pro+".

## What the free plan includes

Free gives 1,000 credits and the same Facebook lead trigger as paid plans, checked once an hour. It is fine for a test or for a business that calls leads the same day, not the same minute.

## A worked example

Say a lead fills your form at 2:01 pm and IFTTT last checked at 2:00 pm.

| Plan | Alert arrives by | Extra cost a year over Free |
|---|---|---|
| Free | About 3:00 pm | $0 |
| Starter | About 2:15 pm | $25.08 |
| Pro | About 2:05 pm | $65.88 |

Going from Free to Starter cuts the longest wait from about an hour to about 15 minutes for $25.08 a year. Going on to Pro saves another 10 minutes for $40.80 more. Pro+ checks at the same 5-minute speed as Pro, so for lead alerts alone, Pro is enough. Read [speed to lead](/glossary/speed-to-lead) to decide how much those minutes are worth to you.

## Which plan suits which team

- **Free:** testing a lead form, or very low volume.
- **Starter:** a solo owner who wants alerts within about 15 minutes.
- **Pro:** a small team that calls leads fast.
- **Pro+:** only if you need what Pro+ adds beyond lead checks.

## Cheaper or different options

Zapier checks every 15 minutes on Free and every 2 minutes on Professional ($19.99 a month billed yearly). Make and Pabbly Connect have free plans too. See our [list of tools to send Facebook leads to Slack](/best/best-tools-to-send-facebook-leads-to-slack) and the [Slack setup guide](/guides/how-to-get-facebook-lead-notifications-in-slack). We make Marxx. It posts Meta leads to each client's Slack channel within moments of arriving. See [Marxx in Slack](/features/slack).
