## Plans and prices

Runway's site moved from runwayml.com to runway.com. The pricing page shows the yearly rate per month, with a "-20% off" label on Yearly. It also shows struck-through prices of $15, $35 and $95 and does not label them. Prices are in $ with no currency code (checked 3 Nov 2026).

There is no plan called Unlimited. "Unlimited 4K upscaling" is a feature of Pro and Max. A Runway help article says Pro has 500GB, but the pricing page says 100GB, and we could not resolve it.

## What the free plan includes

Free gives 125 one-time credits that do not expire, access to some generative models and 5GB of storage. A Runway help article says every video made on Free carries a Runway watermark. Standard and above remove it. Credit top-ups are not available on Free.

## What Runway is for

Runway is mainly an AI generation tool, not a timeline editor for ad cuts. Its own MCP page names models such as Gen-4.5, Seedance 2.0, GPT Image 2, Kling 3.0 and Nano Banana Pro. We did not find auto captions, templates or reframing on the pages we read, so we do not claim them.

## A worked example

Say one clip costs 100 credits. This is a made-up figure, so check Runway's real credit costs.

- Standard: 625 / 100 = 6.25 clips a month. $12 / 6.25 = about $1.92 a clip.
- Pro: 2,250 / 100 = 22.5 clips. $28 / 22.5 = about $1.24 a clip.
- Max: 9,500 / 100 = 95 clips. $76 / 95 = $0.80 a clip.

Bigger plans cost less per credit.
