## A worked example

Prompt 3 needs your speaking pace. Say you speak 2.5 words a second and your script has 60 words.

- Words that fit 15 seconds: 15 x 2.5 = 37.5, so aim for 37.
- Your script today: 60 / 2.5 = 24 seconds.
- Words to cut: 60 - 37 = 23.

Time yourself reading aloud to get your own pace. Then use that number in the prompt.

## Connect ChatGPT to an editor

## Tips

- **Paste the real transcript.** A summary loses the timestamps.
- **Say the length and the language.** "15 seconds, Hinglish" beats "short".
- **Ask for options, then choose.** Five hooks give you something to pick from. Read [how to write ad hooks](/guides/how-to-write-ad-hooks) before you do.
- **Check every claim in the reply.** Keep only what you can prove about your product.
- **Leave out private details.** Skip customer names and unreleased prices.
