Claude gives useful creative strategy when you feed it real inputs: reviews, ad results and competitor ads. These 15 prompts cover research, angles, briefs, test plans and results reviews. Replace the brackets and paste your own material.

## Set up first

- Open a new chat for each brand. Start with: "You are a creative strategist for [brand], which sells [product] to [buyer] in India. Be specific. If my input is not enough, say so instead of guessing."
- Paste real material: reviews, support chats, ad results, competitor ad text.
- Never paste customer personal data.

## Research

1. "Here are 40 customer reviews: [paste]. Group them into the top five reasons people buy and the top five worries. Quote the exact words for each group and tell me how many reviews it covers."
2. "Here are 20 comments under our ads: [paste]. What do people misunderstand about the product? List each misunderstanding with a quote."
3. "Here are ten competitor ads, as text plus a description of the visual: [paste]. Name the angle each one uses. Then tell me which angle none of them use."

## Angles and hooks

4. "From this research summary: [paste], write 10 ad angles. For each, give the buyer, the belief it speaks to and the proof I would need."
5. "Take the angle '[angle]'. Write 8 hooks in different patterns: call-out, mistake, result, question, contrast. Under ten words each."
6. "Give me five reasons this angle might fail with [buyer]. For each, suggest a cheap way to test it."

## Briefs and scripts

7. "Write a one-page creative brief for a 25-second video on the angle '[angle]'. Include the buyer, one message, three hooks, must-show, must-say and do-not."
8. "Turn this brief into a UGC script in five beats: hook, problem, product, proof, call to action. The proof must be: [a true fact]."
9. "Plan a six-frame carousel on this angle. One idea per frame, with a short headline for each."

## Plans and tests

10. "Plan a four-week creative test for [product] with INR [amount] a week. Test three angles with two hooks each. Tell me how to split the budget and how I will decide."
11. "Write a hypothesis for each test above in this form: if we change X, Y will move, because Z."

## Review results

12. "Here are results for eight ads: [paste table with spend, CTR, hook rate, cost per purchase]. Which should I scale, keep or pause? Show your reasoning and say what extra data you would need to be sure."
13. "Compare our best three ads with our worst three: [paste]. What do the winners share that the losers lack? Mark anything you are guessing."

## Check

14. "Review this ad for claims that need proof or could break Meta's ad rules: [paste]. List each claim and the proof I need."
15. "Critique this concept as a sceptical buyer. What would make you scroll past? What would make you trust it?"

## Check the answer

Ask for quotes and counts, then check them. Say you paste 40 reviews for a INR 899 protein bar. Claude says 18 mention taste, 14 mention price and 9 mention protein. That adds up to 41, which is fine, because one review can sit in two groups. If the total were 90, Claude would be double-counting and you should ask again.

Also tell Claude it may answer "not enough data". Run the same task twice. If the answers differ a lot, your input is too thin. Check every number and claim before you run an ad.

## Connect your accounts

On its own, Claude cannot see your ad account. With a connector it can read live results. Marxx runs a hosted MCP server that puts your Meta and Google Ads accounts inside Claude and ChatGPT. See [the MCP page](/mcp), what an [MCP](/glossary/mcp) is, and [how to connect Google Ads to Claude](/guides/how-to-connect-google-ads-to-claude).

For angles to feed these prompts, see the [ad angle examples](/templates/ad-angle-examples). For ChatGPT-style prompts on copy and reports, see [ChatGPT prompts for Facebook ads](/templates/chatgpt-prompts-for-facebook-ads).

## FAQ

### Can Claude read my ad account?

Not on its own. Through an MCP connector it can read live data, such as spend and results by ad.

### Do these prompts work in ChatGPT or Gemini?

Yes. Run the same prompt in two tools and use the answer you would be happy to run.

### Should I let Claude decide which ads to scale?

Use it as a second opinion. You know your margins and your stock, and it does not, unless you tell it.
