Strong lead ad headline examples say what the person gets for filling in the form, in plain words. "Free price sheet for 2 BHK flats in Wakad" works better than "Get in touch" because it names the reward.

We wrote the examples below. They are not from real brands and have not been tested, so change the offer, place and time to fit yours.

## What the headline has to do

- **Name the reward.** A price sheet, a quote, a demo, a seat.
- **Name who it is for.** A city, a home size, a role.
- **Promise only what you can keep.** If you say "callback in 24 hours", your team must call in 24 hours.

Check how the headline looks in the Ads Manager preview for each placement. Text can be cut on some screens, so put the reward first.

## A worked example

Say you spend INR 30,000 on each of two ads for the same form, with the same audience. Ad A says "Get in touch". Ad B says "Free price sheet for 2 BHK flats in Wakad".

| Headline | Leads | Cost per lead | Leads who answer the call | Cost per answered lead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: "Get in touch" | 300 | INR 100 | 45 | INR 667 |
| B: "Free price sheet..." | 220 | INR 136 | 66 | INR 455 |

B costs more per lead and less per lead who picks up (INR 30,000 / 66). Judge headlines by the cost of a lead your sales team can use, not by the cost of any lead. Track it as [cost per acquisition](/glossary/cpa) at the stage that matters to you.

## Tips

- Change only the headline in a test. Keep the form and the image the same.
- Match the headline to the form. If the headline promises a price sheet, send it on the thank-you screen. The [lead ad form templates](/templates/lead-ad-form-templates) have the intro and thank-you text.
- Not sure a form is right? Compare it with a landing page in [lead ads vs landing pages](/compare/lead-ads-vs-landing-page).
- For general headline patterns, see the [ad headline examples](/templates/ad-headline-examples). For property ads, see the [real estate ad copy examples](/templates/real-estate-ad-copy-examples).

Marxx has Meta lead ad capture and routing. See [leads](/features/leads).

## FAQ

### How long should a lead ad headline be?

Short enough to read at a glance. Meta's limits vary by placement, so check the preview in Ads Manager and cut anything that gets trimmed.

### Should the headline match the form?

Yes. A headline that promises a price sheet and a form that asks for a callback time feel like two different offers, and some people drop off.

### Can I put a number in a lead ad headline?

Yes, if it is true. "Free 15-minute call" is fine when your team really holds 15-minute calls.
