A simple way to plan a UGC ad is five beats: hook, problem, product, proof and call to action. Use this template for any 20 to 30 second UGC video.

## The template

[0-3s]   HOOK      One line that stops the right person.
[3-8s]   PROBLEM   What was going wrong, in the buyer's words.
[8-18s]  PRODUCT   The product in use. Show, do not just tell.
[18-25s] PROOF     The result, a review, or a before and after.
[25-30s] CTA       What to do now, and the offer.

## Example 1: skincare (written by us)

- **Hook:** "My makeup used to slide off by noon."
- **Problem:** "Humid commute, oily skin, blotting paper every hour."
- **Product:** Applies the primer on camera, then makeup over it.
- **Proof:** Cut to 4pm, close-up, still matte.
- **CTA:** "It's INR 549 on their site. Link's right there."

## Example 2: ready-to-cook food

- **Hook:** "Dinner in 10 minutes, and it isn't Maggi."
- **Problem:** "I get home at 9 and I'm too tired to cook."
- **Product:** Opens the pack, pan on, shows each step fast.
- **Proof:** Takes a bite. "Honestly better than delivery."
- **CTA:** "Try the 4-pack, first order's 20% off."

## Example 3: a budgeting app

- **Hook:** "I found INR 3,200 I was wasting every month."
- **Problem:** "Subscriptions I forgot I had."
- **Product:** Screen recording: links bank account, sees the list.
- **Proof:** Cancels two on camera.
- **CTA:** "It's free to start. Download it today."

Every result line must be true for your product. Do not script numbers you cannot stand behind.

## Tips

- Film three different hooks for every script. Keep the rest the same.
- Keep each beat short. If a beat runs long, cut words, not speed.
- Let the creator say it their way. Give the beats, not every word.
