About Aaostays

Aaostays is a fast-growing homestay chain in Guwahati built on a simple belief — travel feels best when it feels like home. They provide clean, comfortable and budget-friendly stays for solo travellers, students, families and professionals. Warmth, safety and local hospitality are at the heart of the brand.

Challenge: Great properties, but ads weren’t conveying trust

The homestay category lives or dies on trust. Guests want safety, cleanliness and clarity — not stock-room photos. Aaostays’ ads looked neat, but they didn’t communicate what actually mattered: real spaces, real hosts, and what it feels like to stay there. Meta delivered traffic, but few users completed bookings and many were low-intent browsers only checking prices.

Solution: Marxx rebuilt the creative DNA around ‘home-like comfort’

Aaostays plugged their creative library into Marxx. The agents broke every asset into human signals — entrance shots, room warmth, bathroom clarity, lighting quality, neighbourhood cues, guest interactions and host friendliness. Marxx identified key booking drivers: • soft lighting + tidy beds + warm tones • hosts greeting guests • balcony/rooftop or neighbourhood views • wide shots plus 1–2 detail shots (bathroom, workspace) • captions focused on safety, home-like comfort and local convenience We rebuilt 12–15 creative variants using this DNA and pushed them into Meta. Targeting was rebuilt around actual booking behaviour — trip planners, hostel/homestay engagers, student travel patterns and working professionals.

Outcomes: Higher trust, higher bookings, lower waste

Within weeks, Meta shifted spend into the new trust-first DNA. Bounce dropped, booking intent rose, and Aaostays went from casual scrolls to real check-ins. Bookings surged +223%, cost per booking fell –47%, and repeat stays improved as the brand’s warmth and consistency came through clearly in the ads.

Marxx helped us show the real Aaostays — warm, safe and welcoming. Our ads finally felt like home, and bookings jumped without increasing spend.
